• If you are employed in a permanent or term assignment, any subbing time will be paid separately.
• Subs are paid by submitted Sub Timesheets ONLY (Blue)

• First confirm with your work location (school secretary) what has been reported for hours of work and classification.
• If you are not receiving your assigned hours of work or the proper classification have your school administrator provide the proper documentation to the Human Resources Department.
• If there is a discrepancy in what has been reported and what you are being paid contact the payroll department.

• Is mandatory.
• Forms available at all schools.
• Fill out and submit to payroll on or before the end of a payperiod.

• Available at the Board office and all schools or on HRDC Website.
• Used to increase or decrease Income Tax deductions.
• Read carefully, date and sign, then submit to payroll.

• Reported 3 times a year

• We now file on HRSDC / WEB.
• We do not receive copies from HRSDC.
• Hard copies of your Record of Employment are not provided to employees.

• Enrollment once a year every October.
• May decrease any time during year, but may not increase till October.
• You do not have to re-enroll every October, only if there are changes.

• Changes to vacation rates take place once a year on July 1st.

• Voluntary at any time.
• Deductions start automatically if you reach the YMPE (Yearly Maximum Pensionable Earnings) 2 years in a row

• If you are in an ASSIGNED POSITION you are entitled to one day paid Discretionary Day leave in each vacation year.  In order for an employee to qualify for the discretionary leave day, the employee must have or will likely be employed for more than 120 full or partial consecutive days.
• You CAN NOT carry it forward to the next year.
